As a follow up to the BSL3 TB laboratory building work which is ongoing in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, in June 2019 Fondation Congolaise pour la Recherche Medicale (FCRM) laboratory manager Genevieve Andoseh and PhD student Darrel Elion visited the TB clinical trials laboratories in UCL, London for 2 weeks to learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of running a BSL3 laboratory and undertaking the TB diagnostic techniques that will be set up in the FCRM laboratory when it is established.
