UCL in London has run two separate Nanopore MinION sequencing training sessions, in which participants from across the PANDORA-ID-NET, CANTAM, TESA and EACCR2 networks learned the basics of Nanopore sequencing, including:
- How Nanopore technology works
- An introduction to the different Nanopore platforms
- Introduction to sequencing analysis
- Practical session using the Rapid Barcoding kit
- Practical session using the Rapid PCR Barcoding kit
- How to load a flow cell
- Introduction to MinKNOW and EPI2ME
